A new test for glaucoma is "very easy to use", according to a patient who has tested it.
Carol Bronze used the Moorfields Motion Displacement Test (MDT), which is in its final stages of development.
The MDT uses unique software to test people's field of vision.
A central white spot and 32 white lines are displayed on a grey screen. The patient watches these and is asked to click on the mouse when one of the lines is seen to move.
"The functionality of it was very simple, explanation was very clear and a doctor is near you the whole time which makes you feel very comforted to use it in case you have any questions," Ms Bronze said.
"It's very easy for anyone to get tested for glaucoma. They only need to go along to their optician and ask for a glaucoma test, so it couldn't be easier and I urge people to do it - it could save your eyesight."
