BMA: Results are worrying

A lack of awareness about how many units are in alcoholic drinks is "very worrying", the British Medical Association (BMA) has said.
The doctors' group warned that by not knowing how much alcohol they are consuming, people could be risking their health and driving over the limit.
The warning follows a survey by YouGov which revealed widespread ignorance about how many units of alcohol are in wine and beer.
To counter the lack of unit knowledge the Department of Health has launched its biggest alcohol awareness campaign to date.
The BMA has backed the campaign, saying it is "very pleased" with the emphasis on alcohol awareness.
"Misusing alcohol destroys health, wrecks lives and puts huge strains on our health service," said BMA chairman Dr Hamish Meldrum.
"Individuals should take responsibility for their health and drink sensibly."
He added: "Raising awareness about units is only one part of the solution, however, and the government needs to tackle other issues like the accessibility and affordability of alcohol products.
"The government also needs to focus on providing more treatment for people suffering from alcohol addiction."
