Disabled and older people in England are having to cancel the care services they receive at home due to increasing costs
Disabled and older people in England are having to cancel the care services they receive at home due to increasing costs, it has been claimed.

The Coalition on Charging says care in homes becoming more expensive is making vulnerable people at risk of being denied basic necessities such as food, heating and being able to wash.

Twenty-two per cent of respondents said they would have to stop their care support at home if the costs increased further.

And eight out of ten people who had cancelled care services said rising costs were behind their decision.
