Sam: suicidal
Big Brother looker Sam Heuston has revealed how life after being evicted from the Channel 4 show left her in such mental agony that she contemplated suicide.
The 24-year-old from Cheam in Surrey, has turned her life around over the last three months, and has now embarked on a fulfilling career in glamour modelling.
However, in June she was a shadow of her former self, after becoming a hugely unpopular member of the Big Brother house.
She found that in post-BB life, this meant she was taunted and abused by the public every time she left the house.
She told
The Sun: "I had a complete breakdown.
"In my darkest days I wanted to end it all. I felt paranoid. It was so upsetting and confusing. I was in tears all the time.
"My mum was really upset when I said I'd be better off dead. She and dad tried to help but I'd just be really horrible to them. It was awful. I didn't know if it would ever end."
She was eventually diagnosed with severe depression and was prescribed some powerful anti-depressants.
Sam is not the only
Big Brother housemate who has gone off the rails since leaving the house.
Lesley Sanderson, who was actually Sam's bile-spitting nemesis in the house, revealed that she turned to drink because of the abuse she received in the street after being evicted from the show.
An investigation is currently underway into Lesley's claims that she was recently raped in a Leeds hotel room.
