Serbian duo Ana Ivanovic and Jelena Jankovic have both progressed to the last four of the French Open after overcoming their quarter-final opponents with relative ease.
Seventh seed Ana Ivanovic shocked Russia's Svetlana Kuznetsova (3) 6-0 3-6 6-1.
Shortly afterwards 22-year-old Jankovic ensured the possibility of an all Serbian final by overcoming Czech starlet Nicole Vaidisova in a straight sets 6-3 7-5 victory.
Ivanovic will play second seed Maria Sharapova in her semi-final clash, while Jankovic, seeded fourth at Roland Garros, will play Belgium's Justine Henin-Hardenne.
In her match with Kuznetsova, Ivanovic, 19, took just 21 minutes to claim the first set, and while her Russian opponent recovered to take the second, the Serb followed up a break of serve by winning five straight games to win the decider.
Jankovic meanwhile triumphed by virtue of her opponent's own erratic play, with the 18-year-old surpassing the fourth seed in terms of both winners and unforced errors.
"Today was not a match where I could just keep the ball in play. I had to go for the shots," the Czech player admitted after the match.
"I definitely had my possibilities for sure. Almost every game on her serve I had break points, I just didn't make those. She's a tough girl and she fights," she added of Jankovic.
