Defending champion Venus Williams has sealed her place in the last-four at this year's Wimbledon championships courtesy of an easy win over Agnieszka Radwanska.
The American was rarely troubled as she secured a 6-1 6-2 victory in a little over an hour.
Polish 11th seed Radwanska seemed somewhat overawed by the occasion and was quickly rolled over in the first set as Williams set about attacking her serve with some powerful groundstrokes.
The second set looked like it could have been more of a contest as Williams, who seemed to lose her concentration briefly, was broken in the second game.
But from 2-0 up Radwanska failed to contain the expansive grass-court game of her opponent and collapsed - losing six games on the trot to bow out of the tournament with a whimper.
In the second ladies' singles quarter-final on Court One, fourth seed Elena Dementieva enjoyed a similarly simple victory over unseeded Francesca Schiavone.
The Italian failed to live up to the form she had shown earlier in the tournament as her Russian opponent picked her apart for a 6-2 6-2 win.
