Top seed Ana Ivanovic has been handed a favourable draw at this year's Wimbledon after being told she will not face Maria Sharapova until the final.
Sharapova, who is seeded third, has been placed on the same side of the draw as Ivanovic's Serbian compatriot Jelena Jankovic (2).
The top-ranked player on Ivanovic's half is Svetlana Kuznetsova (4).
The French Open champion begins her assault at SW19 with a match against Rossana De Los Rios of Paraguay, while Jankovic will play Ukraine's Olga Savchuk.
Sharapova, who triumphed at the All England Club in 2004, will play Frenchwoman Stephanie Foretz.
The Williams sisters have also avoided each other in the full draw, with Venus (7) drawn against Briton Naomi Cavady on Jankovic's half and Serena (6) set to play Estonia's Kaia Kanepi.
Of the other British hopes, UK number one Anne Keothavong has been drawn against American Vania King, while Katie O'Brien (British number two) has been handed a first round tie with Israeli seed Shahar Peer and Elena Baltacha (British number three) will play Angelique Kerber of Germany.
