Andy Murray is back into the world's top ten players
British number one Andy Murray has moved back into the world's top ten following his victory at the Open 13 in Marseille on Sunday.

The 20-year-old beat Croatia's Mario Ancic 6-3 6-4 to win his second ATP Tour title in three attempts in 2008.

Last month, Murray also won the Qatar Open in his first tournament of the season, although he endured a frustrating first-round exit at the Australian Open to eventual finalist Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

The victory over Ancic in Marseille also means Murray moves up to fifth overall in the ATP Race 2008 - a rankings list made up of results from this year only.

The Scot leapfrogged Argentina's David Nalbandian, who drops two spots to 11th, while Tomas Berdych also slips two places to 12th.

American James Blake joins Murray in moving up into the top ten to 9th overall, level on ranking points with the Briton but having played more tournaments in the last 12 months.

There are no other changes among the world's elite, with Roger Federer maintaining his number-one position, Rafael Nadal in second and Novak Djokovic in third.

Carlos Moya and Paul-Henri Mathieu were the biggest movers in the top 20, both rising five places to 13th and 16th, respectively.End of story
