Vagner Love: Brazil international linked with Everton
Everton are today being linked with one of Brazil's hottest talents plying his trade outside of Europe's biggest leagues.

The perennial Premier League fifth placers are looking to expand their forward line for the coming season, and David Moyes sees CSKA Moscow striker Vagner Love as the ideal target.

The 24-year-old is looking to follow his former strike partner Jo - now at Manchester City – from Russia to England.

But Moyes, who has £20 million of funds available for a transfer, will only bid for speedster Love if Andrew Johnson completes his move to Wigan, who want the England forward to replace Hull-bound Marlon King.

Another striker on the move could be Dimitar Berbatov - but not as expected to Manchester United.

Tottenham's fury at Alex Ferguson's reported public courting of the Bulgarian could see Spurs sell their prized striking asset to AC Milan in a 'cut-price' deal worth £25 million.

Elsewhere in the Premier League transfer merry-go-round Paul Robinson is likely to replace Aston Villa target Brad Friedel at Blackburn Rovers, who will fill the void left by David Bentley – linked with a move to Spurs – with Liverpool's Jermaine Pennant.

And Roy Keane is continuing his summer rebuilding by turning his attention to Celtic's Irish winger Aidan McGeady, regarded by most Bhoys fans as far and away their best player.End of story
