Wenger will need his captain on top form
Arsenal's inspirational captain Thierry Henry has been passed fit and could start in the crucial Champion's League tie against PSV this week.

The north London club face the Dutch league leaders at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night looking to overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first leg in Holland two weeks ago.

Henry was a doubt for the game because of injury problems to his back and his foot but according to his manager the striker has come through a training session unscathed and is fit to pull on the red and white shirt.

"He trained this morning and he can start if I decide to start him," Wenger said.

"There is no risk for his health or medical problems, just a risk that if he gets worse after the game and you have to start from scratch again.

"He did not practice for two weeks but he did a few gym sessions without running so I don't think he missed too much."

With other key attackers Robin van Persie and Tomas Rosicky missing through injury, Henry's presence in the line-up could be crucial to the Gunners' shot at avoid being knocked out of the only competition that offers silverware for them this season.End of story
