Bradford Bulls winger Semi Tadulala has escaped a ban for pulling the hair of Huddersfield Giants player Eorl Crabtree after his disciplinary hearing.
The Fijian international was hauled in front of the RFL's disciplinary committee after being accused of 'behaving in a way contrary to the true spirit of the game'.
The player admitted the charge, which was rated as a grade C offence meaning he could have been suspended for up to four matches.
However, at the hearing, which was attended by Bulls head coach Steve McNamara, the committee downgraded the offence to grade B and imposed a £400 fine after viewing video and written evidence.
Tadulala also received a formal warning, which will remain on his disciplinary record.
Elsewhere, Wakefield Wildcats scrum-half Danny Brough will miss his side's clash with Warrington Wolves at the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Friday after being handed a one-match ban for using foul and abusive language to referee James Child.
Brough was also fined £300 after pleading guilty to the offence, which occurred during the Wildcats' 46-12 victory over Celtic Crusaders last Sunday.
