Derbyshire was "extatic" about his new contract
Blackburn trio Stephen Warnock, Matt Derbyshire and Martin Olsson have all signed four-year contract extensions with the club.
Warnock signed with the club from
Liverpool in January 2007 and has become a first-choice full-back since then.
The 26-year-old was recently voted as the 'unsung hero' at the club's annual awards and his new deal is likely to be a popular move with Rovers supporters.
Warnock is pleased to be involved in the long-term plans of the club after a series of successful seasons under manager Mark Hughes.
He said: "It is a massive thing to be offered a new contract and when you see how the club is progressing and how things are going then you want to be part of that, and things are going well so I can't really argue."
Derbyshire came through the ranks at Rovers and is said to be "ecstatic" about signing a deal to keep him at the club for another four years.
The England under-21 player has featured regularly for Hughes' side this season but has struggled to depose Roque Santa Cruz as the clubs main striker.
Olsson recently won Blackburn's young player of the year award. The Swedish full-back has only made two first-team appearances so far but is looking forward to getting more of an opportunity in the future.
"I'm very happy to have signed a new deal, it is what I've been working hard for, to get a contract with the first team," said Olsson.
Rovers are currently seventh in the league with one game remaining.
