Germany's men took hockey gold ahead of Spain
Germany have won the men's Olympic hockey for the first time in 16 years after they defeated Spain 1-0 in the final in Beijing.
Christopher Zeller scored the winner in the 16th minute and the Germans were able to hold on for the win.
Spain had a good chance to equalise just before the end but the strike from the penalty corner went just wide of the post.
Australia claimed bronze with a comfortable 6-2 win over the Netherlands, while Britain finished in fifth place in the competition after beating South Korea 5-2.
