Brazil defeat USA for women's volleyball gold

Brazil were surprise winners against the USA
Brazil's women's indoor volleyball team have won their first ever gold medal in the event after they defeated the USA 3-1.
Earlier China had claimed the bronze medal with a 3-1 win over Cuba. China dominated proceedings and won 25-16, 21-25, 25-13, 25-20.
America had done well to reach the final having beaten favourites Cuba in their semi-final and were expected to beat Brazil.
However, the Brazilians took the first set 25-18 to put themselves in a good position. Although USA took the second set 25-18 Brazil responded to take the next two sets 25-13 and 25-21 to win the gold.
