Weekley in prime position to reclaim Verizon Heritage title

Weekley is hoping to retain the title he captured last year
Boo Weekley is in a prime position to defend his Verizon Heritage title having moved into the lead of the tournament with one round to play.
Weekley leads on 15-under-par, three shots ahead of youngster Anthony Kim. The trio of Aaron Baddeley, Jason Bohn and Cliff Kresge are five shots adrift of Weekley on ten-under.
The defending champion carded a round of six-under on day three to push ahead of the rest of the field.
Weekley made five consecutive birdies on the front nine to put himself in a commanding position. He dropped a shot at the 16th hole but birdied the last to give himself a nice cushion heading into the final round.
The American put his good scoring down to his approach shots which consistently landed him close to the hole.
Weekley said: "I've hit the ball pretty well, and I've kept it in a place I know I can score from."
Overnight leader Lucas Glover started well, making two birdies in the first five holes but a disastrous run of four bogeys in the last six holes saw him plummet down the leaderboard.
Kim, 22, is searching for his maiden victory on the PGA Tour and stayed in touch with Weekley thanks to another solid round of four-under.
The highest-ranked golfer left in the field is Jim Fyruk, he is just behind Baddeley, Bohn and Kresge on nine-under, six shots adrift of Weekley.
