American Lucas Glover has moved into the lead of the US Open in New York, having reached six-under-par midway through his second round.
Play was abandoned at 20:24 local time (01:24 BST) due to fading light as the players tried to make up for the time lost due to rain on day one of the tournament.
Glover enjoyed an error free round to surge past Mike Weir who had led on four-under following the end of the first round.
Starting from the tenth tee, Glover picked up birdies at the tenth, 13th and 18th to draw level with the Canadian at the top of the leaderboard.
Further birdies at the second and third holes then put Glover on top with five holes still remaining in his second round.
He is one shot ahead of Ricky Barnes who has played the back nine but still has another nine holes in which to try and catch Glover.
Barnes added to his 67 in round one with birdies at the 11th and 16th.
Peter Hanson and Todd Hamilton also remain in contention on four-under. Hanson is even-par so far in his second round, having played 11 holes, while Hamilton has picked up one stroke during his first ten.
Tiger Woods is yet to start his second round but is now ten shots adrift of the leader following his disastrous end to his opening round.
Ross Fisher remains the best-placed Englishman, he has picked up three birdies and a bogey following ten holes of his second round, putting him on two-under for the tournament.
