Aaron Baddeley failed to make inroads into Weekley's lead
Boo Weekley carded an even-par final round of 71 to retain his Verizon Heritage PGA Tour title by three shots from Aaron Baddeley and Anthony Kim.

Weekley, who was a surprise winner in the same tournament last year, finished on 15 under par overall following impressive back-to-back rounds on days two and three.

After going around in 64 and 65 shots on Friday and Saturday, respectively, his steady final round was enough to take the title and move him up to 23 in the latest world rankings.

Australia's Aaron Baddeley moved up one place to tie with American Anthony Kim for second place, thanks to his two-under-par final round.

Jim Furyk finished fourth as he also carded a 69, although the best round on the final day went to Michael Letzig as he made a six-under-par 65 to move up from 38th overall into a tie for seventh.

England's Brian Davis finished the final day with a round of 70, one under par, to tie for 23rd on four under overall.End of story
