Nico Rosberg looking forward to 2008 F1 season with Williams
Williams driver Nico Rosberg says he is looking forward to the first race of the formula one season after a successful final test in Barcelona.

Rosberg completed 77 laps on the last day of the three-day session at the Circuit de Catalunya in Spain after the weather improved to allow teams the maximum time on track.

And the German's best time put him third in the standings, behind Toyota's Jarno Trulli and David Coulthard in his Red Bull, who had been forced to miss yesterday's testing because of a neck injury.

"We've had a very successful test and run through lots of items," Rosberg said.

"We also ran the new aero package for Melbourne which really was positive. Reliability-wise, we're looking pretty good, I think, we've definitely moved forward."

The driver praised the work of the team's technicians, saying they have "made some good progress over the winter", and said he was excited about Williams' prospects for the Australian grand prix on March 16th.

"I'm now looking forward to getting to Australia," he added.

"It should be a lot of fun, but it's going to be close in the middle of the field so we'll have to see how we do."

Britain's Lewis Hamilton, who topped the classifications earlier this week, finished tenth overall, although team-mate Heikki Kovalainen ended the day with a best time that put him fourth.

Mark Webber's Red Bull was fifth with the Renaults of Nelson Piquet, Jnr and Fernando Alonso in sixth and seventh, respectively.
