Adriano - The next Italian-based player to head for Eastlands?
With just three days to go until the transfer window closes, several clubs still have some major needs to fill if they are to make it through until Christmas.
Manchester City and Middlesbrough are both crying out for options up front, and the signatures of several top strikers up for grabs this week are likely to be contested by these two clubs.
Celtic and Scotland forward
Kenny Miller could be one of the names at the top of Sven-Goran Eriksson's and Gareth Southgate's wish lists after becoming available.
And Inter and Brazil striker
Adriano is on offer through a season-long loan deal this year after falling out of favour at the San Siro.
Middlesbrough may also be keen on securing the services of Bolton captain
Kevin Nolan, with Premier League rivals Everton tracking his availability as well after missing out on
Manuel Fernandes.
Liverpool's
Harry Kewell may be available this week as he faces a battle for selection at Anfield following the arrival of several new signings this summer. He could even be heading to Spain where former Fulham manager Chris Coleman is now head coach of Real Sociedad.
West Ham United may have already spent big this summer but there could be one more player coming through the revolving door at Upton Park.
Reading's Nicky Shorey is the subject of a last-ditch £5 million bid from the Hammers, although the England full-back does not want to leave the Madejski Stadium.
And finally Fulham's
Zat Knight is on the verge of securing a £3 million switch to Aston Villa after agreeing terms with boss Martin O'Neill.
