Newcastle United have been given the most difficult of starts to their 2008/09 Premier League campaign with a trip to Manchester United.
Kevin Keegan's men also travel to Arsenal's Emirates Stadium later in August in what is a remarkably tough opening series of games.
The Tyne-Tees derbies against Middlesbrough take place on November 29th and May 9th.
And the Magpies face their other local rivals Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on October 25th, with the return match at St James' Park on January 31st.
