Tigers face Fulham in first-ever PL game

Hull City Premier League fixtures 2008/09 – inthenews.co.uk
Hull City will travel to Craven Cottage for their first-ever Premier League fixture against Fulham on the opening day of the 2008/09 season.

The Tigers won promotion to the top flight with a playoff final victory over Bristol City at the end of last season, but fans will have to wait until the end of September for their first genuine glamour game at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium.

Manager Phil Brown is likely to face an uphill battle to even keep his side competitive this season, and this will be no more of an issue than in late October and early November when the new boys face Chelsea and Manchester United in back-to-back fixtures.

Hull will meet champions United again in their final game of the season on May 24th which, if predictions are correct, will also represent their last Premier League match before returning to the Championship in 2009/10.
