George Boateng among three new signings for Hull City
Premier League newcomers Hull City have completed the signing of three new players ahead of their maiden top-flight season.

In order to strengthen the squad for 2008/09, manager Phil Brown has picked up former Fulham goalkeeper Tony Warner on a free transfer following his release from Craven Cottage.

Former Liverpool stopper Warner, a Trinidad and Tobago international, has signed a two-year contract.

Hull have also unveiled midfielder George Boateng, who has joined the Humberside outfit from Premier League rivals Middlesbrough.

Dutchman Boateng, who joined Boro from Aston Villa for £5 million in 2002, has completed his £1 million switch to the KC Stadium - also signing a two-year agreement.

And completing the trio is Plymouth Argyle winger Peter Halmosi, who joins for an undisclosed fee on a four-year deal.

Halmosi was in impressive form for the Pilgrims during their Championship campaign last season.

And the Hungarian has been given the chance to impress in the top flight after sealing a move to Hull, despite interest from a number of other Football League clubs.End of story
