Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho confirms interest in signing Frank Lampard, Didier Drogba and Deco
Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho has confirmed his interest in signing Frank Lampard, Didier Drogba and Deco.
Chelsea duo Lampard and Drogba were instrumental in Mourinho's success in west London, while Deco played under the Portuguese boss during his time at Porto.
"I am not nostalgic but I really like those three players, they helped me win some great titles," Mourinho said.
"I cannot forget Deco, Lampard and Drogba."
Lampard is currently locked in contract negotiations with Chelsea over the terms of a new contract, while the club is understood to be open to offers for Ivorian Drogba.
Deco has also been told he can leave the Nou Camp as new boss Josep Guardiola reshapes his squad.
"These are players who I could never say no to," Mourinho continued. "I would love to work with them again in future, but I am not too obsessed with this idea.
"I don't know which of the three will leave their clubs but we'll see."
Inter are emerging as the most likely destination for Drogba if Chelsea do decide to cash in after AC Milan said they were focusing on
Arsenal's Emmanuel Adebayor.
