Tottenham Hotspur and north London rivals Arsenal have been drawn together in the semi-finals of the Carling Cup.
Arsenal progressed into the semi-finals thanks to a 3-2 win over Blackburn at Ewood Park on Tuesday night while Spurs beat Manchester City 2-0 at Eastlands.
The sides have already played each other once this season with the Gunners beating Spurs 3-1 at White Hart Lane and they will face each other in the league again this weekend.
The tie is a repeat of last year's semi-final which the Gunners won 5-3 on aggregate in extra-time of the second leg, thanks to goals by Jeremie Aliadiere and Tomas Rosicky.
Spurs have won the trophy three times before, in 1971, 1973 and 1999; while Arsenal have lifted it twice, in 1987 and 1993.
Chelsea will face Everton in the other semi-final having successfully overcome Liverpool 2-0 at Stamford Bridge.
Everton secured their place in the semi-finals with a 2-1 win over West Ham last week.
The defending Champions will hope to win the trophy for the third time in four years having also been victorious in 2005 against Wigan Athletic.
Chelsea have played Everton twice before in the League Cup during their history with the Blues winning on each occasion.
Unlike the rest of the competition the semi-finals take place over two legs to decide who will go through to the showcase in February.
The first leg will be played during the first week in January 2008, with the return leg taking place two weeks later.
