Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini has signed a four-year deal with AC Milan.
The French international visited a private clinic in Milan this morning for his medical.
Flamini is believed to have signed a deal worth £3.2 million per season, keeping him at the San Siro until 2012.
The 24-year-old said his goodbyes to some of the Gunners' players after yesterday's 1-0 win over Everton, according to reports.
Flamini's contract with Arsenal expires in the summer, and he is thought to have rejected their offer of a new five-year deal worth £50,000 a week.
The ex-Marseille midfielder missed the Everton game with an ankle injury, his last appearance for the club was in the 4-2 defeat to Liverpool in the Champions League quarter-final last month.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger said the club should have had a contingency plan for Flamini's departure.
"At some stage you have to make a decision and if he goes we have to look at our options," Wenger said.
"We can't wait until July. You could lose players if they come on the market.
"My ideal solution is that he stays so I am not happy if he goes - but we have done everything we can."
Flamini has spent four seasons at Arsenal since moving from Marseille in 2004.
His departure is a huge blow for the Gunners as he had formed a solid partnership in central midfield with Cesc Fabregas.
