Campbell to be given chance to prove worth at United

Fraizer Campbell scored 21 goals in 33 games in a loan spell at Royal Antwerp in the 2006/07 season.
Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed Fraizer Campbell will be given first-team chances because of the lack of strikers at
Manchester United.
Rising star Campbell scored in the 1-0 win over Espanyol yesterday in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's testimonial.
The 20-year-old scored 15 goals last season for Hull City, spearheading the club's promotion to the Premier League.
Campbell will be given chances to impress due to United's failure to sign a striker this summer, along with Luis Saha's injury problems.
Ferguson admits United are short of frontmen in their bid to defend their Premier League and Champions League crowns.
"We do not have any strikers apart from Wayne Rooney and Carlos Tevez and Frazier plays in that area," Ferguson said.
"He is quick and determined and he can do very well in the game. Fraizer's future is here.
"Fraizer Campbell has taken his goal very well and it won't do him any harm. He's an aggressive young player.
"We are also hoping to apply for a work permit for Manucho, who comes from Angola. That will give us more back-up."
Campbell is expected to start on the bench in the Community Shield against
Portsmouth next Sunday at Wembley.
United are thought to have had a bid rejected by Tottenham for striker Dimitar Berbatov. The Red Devils have also been linked with
Blackburn Rovers' Roque Santa Cruz, Ajax star Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, and Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano.
