Adil Rashid will practice with the England Test squad in Abu Dhabi
Yorkshire spinner Adil Rashid has been added to the list of England Performance squad members that will join up with the full Test squad in Abu Dhabi.
With the senior squad flying out to the Middle East to begin their preparations for the upcoming two-match Test series against India later this month, Rashid and eight other players are due to join them.
The news follows England team manager Hugh Morris' announcement at a press conference earlier today that additional bowlers would join in with the Test team's training to ensure they get enough practice time facing a range of deliveries.
Rashid, 20, will provide England's batsmen with a good look at the kind of spin they will be facing on the sub-continent after a solid season with Yorkshire in 2008.
He will be joined by fellow spinners Samit Patel of Nottinghamshire and Oliver Rayner of Sussex.
The other bowlers joining the squad for the Abu Dhabi trip feature one-day international all-rounder Ravi Bopara; medium pacers Mark Davies of Durham and Middlesex's Alan Richardson; and pace bowlers Robert Joseph and Amjad Khan of Kent, Lancashire's Sajid Mahmood and Liam Plunkett of Sussex.
