Veteran Real Madrid star Michel Salgado claims he is interested in moving to Queens Park Rangers after they made him an offer.
The former Spanish international admitted the ambitious Championship side have contacted him and that "the project is attractive" to him.
"The offer is true, but until this moment nothing has been decided," said Salgado, who has in the past been linked with the likes of
Manchester United and
Chelsea.
"The project is attractive and personally I've always dreamed of playing in English football.
"It is necessary to speak about many things because I still have a deal with Real Madrid and I will have to see what they want."
Salgado has made 243 appearances for Real Madrid in almost a decade spent at the Bernabeu. He has won four Spanish League titles and two Champions League crowns with the Spanish giants.
The 32-year-old has also won 53 caps for Spain but was not in the squad that won Euro 2008.
Salgado has lost his first-team place at Real with the emergence of Sergio Ramos, who played much of last season at right-back - Salgado's preferred position.
QPR's spending power has increased immensely since the club was bought by billionaires Bernie Ecclestone and Flavio Briatore.
