P Diddy might be undone by a penguin
After using live penguins a "props" in a party, P Diddy is being investigated by animal rights activists.
The penguins were reportedly placed on a floating platform in the pool to bring a unique touch to the opening of the Hotel Victor in Miami last Friday, hosted by the music mogul.
However, animal rights group, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), are now looking into whether any cruelty to animal laws were broken at the Miami poolside party.
"The penguins were obviously bothered by the crowd and the loud music," said one partygoer.
"They were all huddled into one corner facing away from everything, trying to get out."
According to the New York Post, partygoers started chanting "Save the penguins" as they stared in shock at the animals.
Publicist Rob Shuter said that although P Diddy, formerly known as Puff Daddy, was the host of the party, he was not involved in the planning.
This is not the first time the star has fallen out with the animal rights group. In 2001 PETA protested about his use of fur at a fashion show in New York.
PETA are now asking for anyone who was at the party to contact them with information.
