Thai and Cambodian troops have exchanged gunfire along a stretch of their disputed border.
Each side has accused the other of firing first near the Preah Vihear temple, which both countries lay claim to.
Tensions have been running high since July when hundreds of troops engaged in a stand off just metres apart.
In 1962 the International Court of Justice awarded the 1.8 square miles patch of region to Cambodia, a decision which upset Thailand and made them fight against it ever since.
On Wednesday, there were reports of gunfire and a Cambodian defence ministry official said at least ten Thai soldiers had been captured, while a Thai army spokesman said a Cambodian soldier had been killed.
The fighting is now reported to have stopped and a ceasefire is said to be being negotiated.
