A US drone attack in Pakistan has killed at least two suspected militants, with some reports saying as many as five could have been killed.
The attack in the North Waziristan province reportedly saw two missiles fired in Norak village, an area with strong al-Qaeda and Taliban links.
Unmanned drones have been responsible for a number of deadly attacks in the region over the past year. Pakistan has criticised the use of drone attacks, which are not routinely confirmed by the Pentagon, which is the only party capable of deploying them in the region.
It is believed this most recent attack happened at 01:30 local time (20:30 GMT yesterday).
"It was a US drone attack which targeted a compound of a local tribesman, Musharraf Gul, in Norak village," a senior security official told the AFP news agency.
