The Austrian man who allegedly fathered seven children with his imprisoned daughter has been charged with murder, according to reports.
Josef Fritzl, believed to have held his daughter Elisabeth in an underground cellar against her will for 24 years, faces between ten years and life imprisonment if found guilty, the BBC reports.
The 73-year-old also faces charges of rape and slavery.
The murder charge relates to the seventh child fathered by Ms Fritzl, who died shortly after being born.
The case shocked the world and his home town of Amstetten, near Vienna, when it emerged in April.
Details first came to light when Ms Fritzl's daughter Kerstin, 19, was taken to an Austrian hospital and officials became aware of her living conditions.
