Iran's official Irna news agency has reported that three people involved in Thursday's bombing of a mosque in the country have been executed.
Bombs were detonated during evening prayers in the city of Zahedan, in the country's south-east, killing at least 20 people.
The state media network reports that the men were executing by hanging near the mosque for being involved in bringing explosives to the country as well as for past crimes committed against Iran.
A spokesman for the local judiciary, Hojatoeslam Ebrahim Hamidi, said:
"The bombing happened with the explosives these three convicted criminals brought to the country.
"They were convicted as 'mohareb' (one who wages war against God), 'corrupt on the earth' and acting against national security."
Previously, Sunni militant group, Jundallah, claimed responsibility for the attack, telling Al Arabiya television that a suicide bomber had attacked those attending a meeting of the country's revolutionary guards at the mosque.
