Barack Obama is seeking to maintain his lead over Hillary Clinton today as voters in three more US states vote for their chosen Democratic presidential candidate.
Mr Obama has a slight lead over Ms Clinton as they go into the primaries in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.
Ms Clinton's campaign took a blow at the weekend when Democrats in the states of Louisiana, Maine, Nebraska and Washington decided to back her rival.
However, the New York senator has maintained a positive outlook, saying in an interview with ABC that "things have gone well".
"I've been around a long time so, you know, sometimes you're up, sometimes you're down," she said.
"I've been through all of that. I feel really good about where we are."
Her campaign is under fresh direction for today, after Ms Clinton replaced Patti Solis Doyle as her campaign manager with her long-term aide Maggie Williams.
In the Republican race for the presidential nomination, front-runner John McCain and rival Mick Huckabee will also be seeking the support of voters in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.
