Three men have been arrested in the United States over an alleged plot to assassinate Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama.
Mr Obama is set to address the Democrat convention in Denver, Colorado, on Thursday during which, reports claim, the men were planning on shooting him.
Police confirmed that three men are currently being held in connection with drugs and weapons offences.
Tharin Gartrell, 28, was arrested by officers in Aurora after he was seen driving erratically on Sunday.
Detective Marcus Dudley, from Aurora police, said: "The sergeant discovered inside his truck a bullet-proof vest, two rifles, ammunition, walkie-talkies and drugs."
Nathan Johnson, 32, and Shawn Robert Adolf, 33, were also arrested later.
US attorney for Colorado, Troy Eid, said that despite the arrests, "there is no credible threat" to Mr Obama.
