Up to 20 people have been killed after an explosion was reported at a hospital in north-west
Pakistan.
According to the Associated Press news agency a bomb was detonated at the emergency gate outside the hospital in Dera Ismail Khan.
Officials quoted by news agencies have put the death-toll at between 12 and 20.
AP reported that a group of Shia Muslims had gathered outside the hospital before the explosion after a murdered community leader's body was taken there.
It is unclear whether the explosion was triggered by a suicide bomber.
