Talks to decide the Zimbabwean Cabinet are deadlocked after arguments over the destination of key ministries, it has been announced.
The Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) said talks were unlikely to be concluded on Thursday as planned.
Robert Mugabe's Zanu-PF party is set to be awarded 15 out of 31 Cabinet seats, with 13 going to Morgan Tsvangirai's MDC.
The final three will be allocated to deputy prime minister Arthur Mutambara's breakaway MDC faction.
A key power-sharing deal signed on Monday saw the country's political deadlock ended as Mr Mugabe remained as president and Mr Tsvangirai was named as prime minister.
Speaking to state media on Thursday, 84-year-old Mr Mugabe, whose party has lost its parliamentary majority for the first time since independence, admitted he felt "humiliated" by the deal.
But he added: "Anyhow here we are, still in a dominant position which will enable us to gather more strength as we move into the future.
"We remain in the driving seat."
