The three Islamic militants convicted for the Bali bombings in 2002 in which 202 people died have been executed.
Last night, the three - Imam Samudra, 38, Mukhlas, 48, and Amrozi, 46 - were executed by firing squads shortly after midnight in Java after their final appeal was turned down.
Their bodies were airlifted home to their villages where they were buried.
The men were members of south-east Asian group Jemaah Islamiah, an ally of Al-Qaeda.
The bombings at a crowded nightclub in an area popular with Western tourists killed 88 Australians, as well as 24 Britons, and feelings were mixed on the news of the executions.
Survivor Peter Hughes told CNN: "It's just utter relief.
"We had to fight for life pretty hard back then and it's been a struggle every day since," he said.
"So from my perspective these guys set about mass murder and they've paid the highest penalty."
But he added: "It doesn't feel good."
On Saturday, October 12th, 2002, the first suicide bomber walked into Paddy's Bar on the island of Bali and set off a bomb in the middle of a crowd.
The second bomber waited outside and detonated a van of explosives as people were fleeing for their lives.
