An overnight fire at a junior school in Uganda has killed at least 19 girls and two adults, local police have said.
The Associated Press agency quoted local police as saying that the fire may have been deliberately set.
Police inspector general Kale Kaihura told reporters: "Preliminary investigations are indicating that it was homicide."
The fire was started at around 22:00 local time (20:00 BST) on Monday.
It is currently unknown how many children had been in the dormitory that sleeps 63.
The Buddo Primary school is located 12 km from the capital Kampala and the fire is the third deadly blaze at a Ugandan school in two years.
