Six people have been killed during fighting between rival Islamist militia groups in central Somalia, reports suggest.
The AFP news agency claims members of the extremist Islamist Shebab group and supporters of Ahlu Sunna Wal-jamaah clashed on Tuesday morning in the suburbs of Guriel.
Seven people are reported to have also been injured in the fighting, with both sides thought to still be facing each other outside the town.
Today's clashes took place as Ethiopia continues to withdraw its troops from Somalia, almost three years after invading to support the local administration and defeat an Islamist insurgency.
Ethiopia has vowed not to leave a power vacuum once the troop withdrawal is complete, although African peace-keepers will face an increasingly powerful Shebab insurgency.
