Man kills his estranged wife and her uncle in north Italy courtroom shooting
Three people have been killed in northern Italy after a man reportedly opened fire in a divorce proceedings courtroom.
According to the Ansa news agency the gunman, said to be a 40-year-old Albanian, shot both his estranged wife and her uncle in a courtroom in Reggio Emilia.
Eyewitnesses claim that the man was then shot dead by armed police as he tried to escape the building.
Ansa, which reported that the attack took place at 11:00 local time (10:00 BST), said three other people were injured in the shooting.
The court had apparently been presiding over the couple's legal separation before gunfire broke out.
