The White House accidentally listed a phone sex number for journalists seeking interviews with US secretary of state Hillary Clinton at the G20 summit.
Reporters looking to talk with high-profile members of the Obama administration at the recent summit in London were given contact details in an official press release.
However, the number provided in the release in fact turned out to be that of a sex line, forcing the White House to issue a different number.
According to the AFP news agency no official explanation was given to how the wrong number was included in the email.
Mr Obama and Mrs Clinton landed in France today for the annual Nato conference, having agreed to pledge an extra $1 trillion in fiscal stimulus to the global economy at the G20 summit.
