At least eight people have been killed and 25 others wounded in a series of bomb blasts in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad.
In the first of four separate attacks in the city this morning, seven people were killed in a roadside bomb attack.
"Three soldiers were killed and another four civilians were injured when a roadside bomb exploded as their convoy was moving in Yarmuk area in western Baghdad," a military source told the AFP news agency.
The blast was shortly followed by a car bomb explosion in the eastern district of Jadidah, local officials also report.
Later one person was killed in a third blast in Baghdad's central commercial district of Karrada and another died following an explosion at a police checkpoint.
