Powerful earthquake off Indonesian coast

A large earthquake has struck off the coast of Indonesia, the US Geological Survey has announced.
The quake occurred at a depth of 38.8 miles and around 150 miles from the island of Ternate in the Maluccas islands of eastern Indonesia.
The USGS initially measured the earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0.
There have so far been no reports of any damage or casualties.
The quake comes just weeks after a devastating earthquake in West Sumatra left hundreds of people dead.
