Police investigating a series of explosions in north-eastern India have arrested 12 suspected terrorists.
Up to 75 people are thought to have died in yesterday's linked blasts in Assam state, which saw 13 separate explosions take place.
Six of those explosions were in the state capital Guwuhati, where hundreds of people are thought to have been injured.
Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta, Assam's inspector general of police, said the investigation into the attacks was at a "very preliminary state".
In the immediate aftermath of the blasts suspicion fell on the United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA).
But the group, which has campaigned for an independent homeland since 1979, denied any involvement in the attacks.
Indian prime minister Manmohan Singh has already called on people to "unite against terrorism".
