A North Korean woman accused of using sex while gaining South Korean intelligence has been sentenced to five years in prison.
Won Jeong Hwa was arrested in July on charges of passing classified information to the north, including key military installations and personal information on South Korean military officers.
Prosecutors claimed Won used "sex as a tool" in her espionage mission, including dating an army officers and making him work for her.
Her case has caused a sensation in the Korea media and has reportedly caused considerable tension between the two nations, with Pyongyang claiming the case had been fabricated to tarnish the north.
Won is the second North Korean spy to be arrested in South Korea during the last ten years.
