Bottom of the table Worcester held Wasps to a 3-3 draw in the Guinness Premiership in an uninspiring game at Sixways.
The visitors took the lead after 11 minutes when Dave Walder kicked a penalty. Shane Drahm replied in kind just before the break and those were to be the only points of the game.
Worcester had the majority of the territory and possession but failed to capitalise on it as their attacking play lacked invention and belief.
The Wasps defence held up well against the home side's pressure despite giving away 15 penalties in the match.
However it was Wasps who came the closest to a try as Dominic Waldouck just failed to latch on to a speculative kick in the first half.
In the second half, substitute Danny Cipriani made a solo break near the end of the game but was denied by the Worcester winger.
The draw means that Worcester have closed the gap to Northampton above them to just three points, though they still remain bottom.
Wasps consolidated third spot but have played more games than the teams around them.
In the Magners League Leinster defeated Llanelli 44-34 to go top of the table.
Each side scored five tries but it was the boot of fly-half Felipe Contepomi that proved to be the difference between the sides as he kicked 19 points.
The Irish team had to come back from a 20-10 deficit early in the second-half but their attacking force, coupled with the accuracy of Contepomi, gave them the win.
Elsewhere the Dragons beat Border Reivers 48-0 and Glasgow Warriors defeated Cardiff 22-3.
