A woman has been charged with sexually abusing a child and taking and distributing indecent images following the police investigation into abuse at a Plymouth nursery.
Hampshire police confirmed on Monday Tracy Lyons had been charged with three cases of offences against a child.
The 39-year-old from Portsmouth was charged after officers received information from Greater Manchester police as part of the investigation into Vanessa George, the former nursery worker, and Colin Blanchard, both 39, who have been charged with similar offences.
Ms Lyons appeared before city magistrates during the weekend and has been remanded into custody until January.
Yesterday footage and audio clips from police interviewing George following her arrest were aired on the BBC.
In the tapes the 39-year-old describes her actions as "vile" but refuses to help police identify her victims.
She claims she was coaxed into taking images of children at the Little Ted's nursery in Plymouth by Blanchard, from Rochdale, who she had met on the social-networking website Facebook.
The pair, along with 39-year-old Angela Allen, from Nottingham, will be sentenced for 37 cases of child sex abuse next month.
