A 106-year-old woman has lost her battle to prevent the closure of her council-run care home.
Louisa Watts and her family had been campaigning to keep the Underhill House home in Wolverhampton open.
They had even taken out an injunction against the city council to prevent its closure. However, this was overturned earlier by the court of appeal.
Today the court informed Ms Watts there were no grounds to allow an appeal.
Lord Justice Sedley said: "If there were any firm findings that moving Mrs Watts would shorten her life, the decision would be quite different.
"Mrs Watts is entitled to the full benefit of every day that still remains to her."
He said if the move was managed properly Ms Watts should suffer no harm.
The council is planning on closing the home to make financial savings.
