Wolves have made their eighth signing of the summer, securing midfielder Segundo Castillo on a season-long loan from Red Star Belgrade.
The Ecuador international trained with his new team mates on Thursday before completing the move this weekend.
The deal also includes an option to make the deal permanent at the end of the season.
The 27-year-old spent last season on loan at Everton, scoring once in 13 appearances.
Castillo said on the club's website: "I'm very happy to be joining Wolves.
"It's another chance for me to prove myself in England.
"I've been at teams at the top of the table in Ecuador and then with Everton last season but I'm looking forward to the challenge of trying to help establish Wolves in the Premier League."
Castillo is the second player to be signed by Mick McCarthy from the Serbian side Red Star Belgrade, with Nenand Milijas arriving at Molineaux in June.
"I know Nenad very well and that makes it easier when you arrive at a new club that you know someone in the team," Castillo added.
Castillo has made 42 appearances for Ecuador, and McCarthy is pleased to have signed a player with such international experience.
"Segundo has good experience having played in the Premier League for Everton and made 42 international appearances for Ecuador.
"He will certainly add quality to the squad and I'm delighted to have brought him in," he said.
Before his time at Everton last season, Castillo helped Red Star to a league and cup double in 2007.
He becomes McCarthy's eighth new signing of the summer following the arrivals of Milijas, Marcus Hahnemann, Kevin Doyle, Andrew Surman, Greg Halford, Ronald Zubar and the loan signing of Chelsea's Michael Mancienne.
